Hey, I'm Zak Kukoff, the founder and CEO of TruantToday, an education startup working on eliminating truancy. TruantToday was voted "most likely to succeed" at the Clinton Global Initiative and "teacher's choice" at NBC Education Nation. I also founded Autism Ambassadors, a nonprofit that builds friendships between typical students and those with special needs in over 25 schools throughout the United States and abroad. I'm now writing a book (published by Sage Publications) about Autism Ambassadors. In my spare time, I volunteer at the Westminster Free Clinic, which provides free medical services for those without healthcare, write for the Huffington Post Education Section, and help organize both TEDxConejo and TEDxYouth@Conejo. My work has been featured in the NYTimes, TechCrunch, Bloomberg, The Next Web, and other well-known publications.
